Job Description:

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Litigation Attorney to join our legal team in San Mateo, California. This role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of civil litigation cases, providing legal expertise and representation in court. The ideal candidate has a strong passion for the legal field and thrives in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.

Job Responsibility:

Handle a variety of civil litigation cases, representing clients effectively in court proceedings
draft and review pleadings, motions, and legal documents with a high level of accuracy
conduct depositions and manage the discovery process to support case development
communicate regularly with clients to provide updates and address legal concerns
collaborate with colleagues to develop case strategies and ensure successful outcomes
utilize case management and document management software to organize and track legal matters
research and analyze legal precedents to support case arguments and decision-making
oversee claims administration and ensure compliance with legal standards and deadlines
prepare and deliver persuasive briefs and arguments in support of client positions
handle consumer complaints and disputes, providing timely and effective resolutions.

Requirements:

A minimum of 3 years of experience in civil litigation, including courtroom representation
proficiency in using case management software and document management tools
strong skills in drafting legal documents, including pleadings and briefs
experience in conducting depositions and managing the discovery process
familiarity with handling consumer complaints and claims administration
ability to analyze legal issues and provide sound recommendations
excellent communication and client relationship management abilities
proficiency in tools such as Adobe Acrobat and Conveyancer.
