Litigation Attorney

• Draft and review legal documents, including complaints, briefs, and motions, with accuracy and attention to detail
• Conduct depositions and defend depositions to gather evidence and build strong cases
• Attend court hearings and legal proceedings, presenting arguments and advocating for clients
• Manage caseloads efficiently, maintaining organized records and prioritizing tasks
• Advise clients on legal matters, offering clear guidance and support throughout the litigation process
• Collaborate with colleagues and experts to strategize and strengthen case outcomes
• Utilize case management software and document management tools to streamline workflows
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of asbestos litigation and civil litigation practices
• Communicate effectively in Spanish, if applicable, to assist Spanish-speaking clients and translate legal documents when needed

• A Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
• Active license to practice law in California
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in civil litigation, preferably in plaintiff asbestos cases
• Proficiency in case management and document management software
• Strong skills in drafting legal documents, briefing, and complaint handling
• Experience with depositions and courtroom advocacy
• Ability to work a demanding schedule of 55+ hours per week

Fluency in Spanish is highly preferred for client communication and translation purposes
