Job Description:

A full-service regional law firm in North Seattle is seeking a Litigation Attorney to join their team, to work on a variety of matters including employment law, real estate disputes, contract disputes, construction litigation and other civil and commercial cases.

Job Responsibility:

  • Conduct meetings and counsel clients
  • Conduct legal research
  • Interpret laws and rulings
  • Confer with colleagues with specialty in certain areas for optimal client outcomes
  • Draft all necessary legal documents relating to clients' cases in a timely and consistent manner
  • Represent clients in court, alternate dispute resolution and trial
  • Meet an annual billable hour expectation of 1680

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor from an accredited law school
  • Active bar admission in Washington in good standing
  • At least 3 years of experience handling civil/commercial litigation matters in Washington
  • Demonstrated ability to draft motions, briefs, pleadings, and discovery documents
  • Strong legal research, analytical thinking, and written advocacy skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid environment while maintaining a significant in-office presence
