As a Litigation Attorney at this firm, you will play a pivotal role in representing clients and advancing their interests through all phases of the litigation process. You will manage a diverse caseload, collaborating with paralegals and other attorneys in a fast-paced, innovative environment dedicated to delivering high-quality legal services.
Job Responsibility:
Handle all aspects of litigation, including case assessment, strategy development, pleadings, discovery, motions, depositions, and trial
Conduct legal research and draft memoranda, motions, briefs, and other court filings
Represent clients in hearings, settlement conferences, mediations, and trials
Manage case files, deadlines, and client communications to ensure efficient workflow and compliance with court rules
Collaborate with paralegals and legal assistants to prepare for depositions and court appearances
Advise clients on legal risks, potential outcomes, and alternative dispute resolution strategies
Stay current with legal developments, court procedures, and emerging technologies such as AI tools and eDiscovery platforms
Requirements:
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and active license to practice law
Minimum of 2+ years of litigation experience in a law firm or legal department
Strong knowledge of litigation, discovery, and trial procedures
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with proven ability to advocate and negotiate
Technical proficiency with legal research platforms and document management systems
Critical thinking, adaptability, and commitment to continuous learning
