Job Description

A busy Dallas‑based boutique law firm is seeking a Litigation Attorney to join their team on a contract‑to‑permanent hire basis. This role is ideal for an attorney who enjoys hands‑on litigation work and can step in and contribute quickly.

Job Responsibility

  • Draft and respond to discovery
  • Prepare and argue motions
  • Attend and handle hearings (level of responsibility based on experience)
  • Assist with trial preparation and case strategy
  • Conduct legal research and case analysis
  • Support a variety of civil litigation matters, including real estate-related disputes

Requirements

  • 1–5 years of litigation experience (civil, commercial, real estate, construction, HOA/POA, or foreclosure preferred, but not required)
  • Attorneys from personal injury or other litigation practices who want to transition into broader civil litigation are encouraged to apply
  • Comfortable in the courtroom and willing to take ownership of matters
  • Strong writing and analytical skills
  • Ability to think independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Active Texas law license required
