Robert Half Legal is partnering with a large public entity in New York on a fully remote, long‑term legal project. As the client expands their team for 2026, we are seeking Litigation Attorneys with strong analytical skills to support high-impact administrative work. This is a hands-on administrative procedure project—not document review.
Job Responsibility:
Represent the client in non-judicial administrative hearings
Review and analyze cases to determine the current stage of the administrative claims process
Communicate with counsel and claimants to support and negotiate potential settlements
prepare all related documentation
Attend virtual hearings/conferences, interview witnesses, draft subpoenas, draft closing statements, and maintain consistent communication with all parties
Manage a high-volume caseload with accuracy and professionalism
Requirements:
Licensed attorney in good standing in any U.S. jurisdiction
Full-time availability during standard EST business hours
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and utilize available resources to find answers
Demonstrated tech-savviness and comfort navigating multiple systems
Strong organizational skills, flexibility, and ability to perform in a fast-paced environment
Successful completion of a pre-placement process, including fingerprinting, within required timelines
Nice to have:
At least 1 year of litigation or legal dispute experience
Strong technical aptitude
