Litigation attorney

• Manage litigation matters from intake through resolution, including pleadings, discovery, motion practice, negotiations, and trial preparation
• Draft and argue motions, briefs, and other court filings
• Conduct depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts
• Handle written discovery, including drafting requests, responding to discovery, and managing document review
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, courts, and internal partners
• Develop case strategy in coordination with supervising attorneys or client stakeholders
• Represent clients at hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and settlement conferences
• Analyze complex legal issues and provide clear, practical guidance
• Maintain organized case files, meet litigation deadlines, and ensure compliance with local/state/federal court rules

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
• Active and in good standing with the California Bar
• 5+ years of litigation experience, preferably across multiple practice areas
• Strong drafting, research, and analytical skills
• Demonstrated experience handling cases independently
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work collaboratively with teams and communicate effectively with clients
• Comfort operating in both remote and in‑office environments depending on business needs
