Job Description:

Highly-regarded, purpose-driven Plaintiff's law firm is seeking an experienced Litigation Attorney to join its expanding team. This boutique practice handles complex litigation matters in antitrust, class actions, and anticompetitive business practices. You will join a collaborative team that values professional growth and quality over quantity.

Job Responsibility:

  • Prepare and argue critical motions and participate in key court hearings
  • Contribute to strategic decision making throughout each case
  • Draft high-quality pleadings and contested motions, including complaints, oppositions to motions to dismiss, motions for summary judgment, and class certification briefing
  • Manage complex discovery, including client productions, e-discovery workflows, search term development, and adversarial meet-and-confers
  • Oversee document review processes and ensuring quality, accuracy, and consistency
  • Take and defend depositions and collaborate with expert witnesses
  • Participate in business development and occasional professional conferences (subsidized by the firm)

Requirements:

  • Licensed and in good standing with the NY State Bar
  • 5-10 years of litigation experience, preferably in antitrust, class actions, or complex litigation
  • Clerkship experience is highly valued
  • Exceptional legal writer with excellent analytical and communication skills
