Litigation Attorney

• Manage a caseload of insurance defense litigation matters from inception through resolution
• Draft and argue motions, including summary judgment and discovery motions
• Conduct and defend depositions, including expert and fact witnesses
• Prepare pleadings, discovery demands and responses, and legal correspondence
• Attend court conferences, hearings, arbitrations, and trials
• Communicate effectively with clients, insurance carriers, and opposing counsel
• Provide thorough analysis and timely reporting to clients and carriers
• Collaborate with partners and other team members on case strategy and client needs

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
• Admitted to practice in New York (additional admissions a plus)
• Minimum of 1 year of litigation experience, with an emphasis in insurance defense
• Experience in labor law, asbestos litigation, and general liability matters strongly preferred
• Excellent legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
