Job Responsibility
Manage cases from inception through resolution
Draft pleadings, motions, and legal memoranda
Conduct and defend depositions
Handle discovery and motion practice
Participate in mediations, hearings, and trials
Advise and collaborate with school district clients
Work closely with partners on complex litigation matters
Requirements
Active California Bar membership
3+ years of litigation experience
Experience in employment, education law, public agency, or civil litigation preferred
Strong legal research, writing, and advocacy skills
Ability to manage cases independently while working collaboratively with a team
At least 3 years of experience in civil litigation, with stronger consideration for candidates bringing 4 or more years
Demonstrated ability to manage litigation matters with a high level of independence and accountability
Experience drafting motions, briefs, discovery documents, and other litigation-related materials
Confidence handling depositions, court appearances, and trial preparation activities
Strong legal research, analytical reasoning, and written communication skills
Ability to work on-site or locally within the Orange County area, including Tustin, California
