Job Description

A fast-growing, nationally recognized family and estate planning law firm is seeking a talented Litigation Attorney to join its expanding team. This is an excellent opportunity for a litigation professional who is passionate about advocacy, client service, and making a meaningful impact in people’s lives.

Job Responsibility

  • Represent clients in court proceedings and negotiations
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to support litigation strategies
  • Draft and review pleadings, motions, and other legal documents
  • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and the court
  • Manage a litigation caseload while meeting deadlines
  • Stay current on changes in the law and court procedures
  • Participate in professional organizations and legal associations

Requirements

  • J.D. from an accredited law school
  • Active admission to the South Carolina Bar
  • 3+ years of litigation experience (family law strongly preferred)
  • Strong legal research, writing, and advocacy skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment
  • Excellent organization, time management, and discretion
