Job Description

Interested in handling high-exposure litigation and gaining meaningful courtroom experience? This role is ideal for an attorney who genuinely enjoys litigating and wants hands-on involvement in complex insurance defense matters from inception through trial.

Job Responsibility

  • Handle court appearances in insurance defense matters throughout Southern California
  • Review medical records, claim files, and litigation documents
  • Interview clients, witnesses, and insureds regarding case facts and litigation strategy
  • Draft and argue motions, including substantive law & motion work
  • Conduct legal research and prepare case evaluations and analysis
  • Manage written discovery, including drafting and responding to discovery requests
  • Assist with trial preparation and second chair trials approximately 5–7 times annually

Requirements

  • 3+ years of personal injury or insurance defense experience
  • Strong legal writing and discovery experience
  • Interest in litigation and courtroom advocacy
