Job Description

Our Firm is seeking a qualified Litigation Associate to join its litigation practice in its St. Louis office. Candidates should have excellent academic credentials, as well as advanced communication, writing, and analytical skills. The candidate must be self-motivated with the drive to help shape and expand a growing practice and the ability and confidence to work independently. The ideal candidate will have experience handling all aspects of discovery such as working with clients to collect discovery, managing experts, and drafting requests and responses to written discovery; preparing for and taking depositions; managing cases including identifying and tracking deadlines, delegating tasks to other attorneys and/or staff, and communicating with clients regarding status; drafting motions; and participating in court proceedings.

  • Assist with white collar and government-related matters, including enforcement inquiries, grand jury issues, and related criminal defense work
  • Prepare clients and witnesses for interviews, testimony, depositions, and appearances before courts, agencies, and other tribunals
  • Oversee discovery efforts by managing document analysis, coordinating case materials, and advancing efficient case administration
  • Appear at court proceedings, mediations, arbitrations, and administrative hearings as part of the broader litigation team
  • Work closely with partners and clients to deliver strategic advice, responsive communication, and high-quality representation on sensitive matters
