Job Description

We are seeking a Litigation Associate to join a growing law firm based in San Mateo, California, particularly in the field of complex intellectual property litigation.

Job Responsibility

  • Handle complex litigation cases, with a focus on patent and intellectual property disputes
  • Conduct comprehensive legal research and prepare detailed legal documents
  • Engage in discovery and motion practice, managing a substantive portion of litigation matters
  • Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with clients and understand their business needs
  • Collaborate with team members to strategize and execute litigation processes effectively
  • Take the lead in preparing for oral arguments and depositions
  • Ensure all litigation activities comply with the applicable laws and regulations
  • Utilize your technical aptitude to understand and manage cases related to intellectual property
  • Work efficiently and creatively to resolve disputes in favor of our clients

Requirements

  • 1-5+ years of complex litigation experience, preferably in the areas of IP
  • Must be CA barred
  • Must be able to work onsite 5 days per week
