We are looking for a motivated Litigation Associate with 1–3 years of relevant experience to join our Litigation Practice in Stamford, Connecticut. This position provides an opportunity to engage in diverse and challenging legal matters, including civil litigation, securities cases, white-collar defense, and internal investigations. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively within a dynamic team while honing their litigation skills in a fast-paced environment.
Job Responsibility:
Prepare and assist in drafting pleadings, motions, briefs, and legal memoranda
Conduct thorough legal research and factual investigations to address complex legal issues
Manage discovery processes by drafting and responding to document requests, interrogatories, and subpoenas
Participate in depositions, hearings, and trial preparation activities
Support internal investigations, including reviewing documents and interviewing witnesses
Work closely with senior associates and partners to develop case strategies and approaches
Facilitate communication with clients, opposing counsel, and other relevant parties to ensure effective case management
Requirements:
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
1–3 years of litigation experience, ideally gained through a law firm or judicial clerkship
Demonstrated expertise in legal research, writing, and analysis
Proficiency in drafting legal documents, including pleadings, discovery responses, and motions
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational capabilities
Ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines effectively
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with team members and interact with clients
Ideally admitted to the Connecticut Bar
however, admission is not required at the time of application. Candidates must be eligible for admission and commit to obtaining Connecticut Bar admission within three months of their start date
