A well-established and growing law firm is seeking a Litigation Associate (2–5 years) to join its collaborative team. This is a hands-on opportunity to work on a diverse range of civil litigation matters while receiving direct mentorship and developing toward a long-term career path with partnership potential.
Job Responsibility
Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and legal correspondence
Conduct legal research and factual investigations
Assist with hearings, depositions, mediations, and trial preparation
Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and court personnel
Manage case files, deadlines, and litigation calendars
Work closely with attorneys and support staff on active matters
Take on increasing responsibility for case strategy, client interaction, and case management
Requirements
At least 2 years of experience handling civil litigation matters in a law firm or similar legal setting
Active attorney licensure with the ability to practice law as required for the role
Demonstrated strength in legal research, written advocacy, and analytical evaluation of case issues
Experience drafting motions, briefs, discovery requests, and related litigation documents
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a busy practice environment
Effective communication skills and a detail-oriented approach to working with clients and internal teams
Self-motivated work style with the judgment to take initiative and grow into broader case responsibility
