Job Description

Dvorak Law Group is seeking an Associate Attorney to join our law firm’s Litigation & Dispute Resolution practice group. The candidate will have the opportunity to work closely with experienced attorneys on complex litigation matters across a variety of industries. The ideal candidate is a strong writer, critical thinker, and team player who is eager to take ownership of projects and gain hands-on litigation experience.

Job Responsibility

  • Work collaboratively within an experienced litigation practice group
  • Collaborate with other attorneys across other practice groups within the firm, as well as clients and third-party advisors
  • Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and other legal documents
  • Conduct legal research and provide strategic analysis of case law and statutes
  • Manage discovery, including depositions, document review, and expert witness preparation
  • Assist with trial preparation and courtroom advocacy
  • Communicate directly with clients, keeping them informed and engaged throughout the litigation process
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and execute litigation strategies that align with client goals
  • Represent clients in commercial disputes in state and federal courts, as well as in arbitration and mediation

Requirements

  • J.D. from an accredited law school
  • Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
  • Effective time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to complete projects within deadlines and maintain effective working relationships with all members of the firm
  • Strong work ethic and action-oriented interest in taking on increased levels of responsibility for transactions
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
