Our client is seeking a Litigation Assistant with a minimum of five years of relevant experience to provide overflow and project-based support to lawyers and legal assistants within the litigation team.
Job Responsibility:
Prepare and format legal documents
Draft correspondence
Manage and maintain calendars
Organize and maintain files and documentation
Handle records management and court filings
Provide coverage for absences, including vacation, sick leave, and personal days
Requirements:
Minimum of five years of litigation experience
Legal Assistant Diploma from an accredited post-secondary institution
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Highly organized with strong attention to detail
Excellent technical aptitude and problem-solving abilities
