A national law firm with a large San Diego presence is seeking a Litigation Assistant for its federally focused practice. This role is hybrid in downtown San Diego.
Job Responsibility:
Draft, format, and finalize legal documents and correspondence using firm-standard software (NetDocs)
Manage attorney time entries and process expense reports, invoices, and reimbursements
Format pleadings
Coordinate travel, manage calendars, and organize in-person/virtual meetings via Zoom and Microsoft Teams
Maintain calendar for litigation deadlines
E-file in state and federal courts
Requirements:
Strong eFiling skills, ideally in federal court strongly preferred
Able to generate Tables of Contents (TOC) and Tables of Authorities (TOA) in compliance with court requirements
3+ years of civil litigation experience
Must be local to San Diego and be able to commute downtown 3x/week
