Job Description:

The VP in Liquidity Strategy & Solutions will work within the Liquidity Management team to develop Citi’s liquidity strategy, improve balance sheet efficiencies, and support liability strategy development. The role requires a combination of technical expertise, commercial acumen, and strong collaboration across cross-functional global teams.

Job Responsibility:

Developing Citi’s liquidity strategy, including target liability and liquid asset portfolio structures
Supporting commercial and client initiatives to improve Citi’s long-term returns and liquidity profile
Contributing to framework enhancements to enable greater balance sheet efficiencies at Citi
Supporting Liability Strategy development, particularly for the target liability stack
Collaborating effectively with global teams and business units

Requirements:

Commercial understanding of Citi’s businesses, and the importance of liquidity
Highly quantitative, data analysis skills, able to manage large and sometimes unstructured data sets
Knowledge and exposure to Liquidity Management, Asset-Liability Management and broader Treasury
Ability to understand complex ideas, unfazed by ambiguity, biased towards structure, attention to detail
Organized, self-motivated, curious and able to work on multiple projects with global teams in parallel
Able to communicate complex and technical concepts to different levels of seniority and backgrounds
Excellent interpersonal skills, in person and over video, able to build strong working relationships
Highly collaborative and able to partner with other teams to navigate roadblocks and resolve conflicts
10+ years of relevant experience in the Financial Services industry
Bachelor’s degree and qualifications in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics), Finance, Economics, Business, or another related field
