The Liquidity Risk Officer is a strategic professional who stays abreast of developments within own field and contributes to directional strategy by considering their application in own job and the business. Recognized technical authority for an area within the business. Requires basic commercial awareness. Job Responsibility:
Leads Change Management Initiatives including coordinating JIRAs, acquiring data into Risk systems, implementing new metrics into Risk systems
Validates Liquidity reporting implementations for assumptions, Limits and MATs, and methodology changes
Provides ongoing Credible Challenge in established Liquidity forums and calls
Responsible for reporting on and analyzing current liquidity position through analytical tools
Responsible for risk reporting and analysis for Citi Treasury, working closely with Liquidity Management, Liquidity Operations, Treasury Finance and O&T
Partners with members of Treasury, Risk Management, and Finance to establish reporting requirements, develop the tools, analysis and reporting necessary to proactively identify and manage risk with respect balance liquidity, and continuously update the reporting process to reflect the current business structure
Develops a high level of expertise in the various systems Treasury Risk uses to generate Risk information such as the Global Liquidity Reporting System (GLRS) and AQUA
Works with members of the various disciplines to identify ways to streamline and automate process flows in order to create more accurate and timely results, as well as improving efficiency
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency
Requirements:
6 -10 years relevant experience
Must possess strong knowledge of balance sheet composition
Must possess knowledge of Liquidity system workflows, front-end and management reporting application systems, and knowledge in the utilization of database technology
Attention to detail and accuracy are essential
Solid Microsoft Excel and general Microsoft Office skills
Quick learner with excellent communication skills, team orientation, and ability to work with counterparts in different areas of organization
