Job Description:

The Senior Lead Analyst will demonstrate a broad understanding of IL management practices and an awareness of the business drivers that contribute to the use of that liquidity. Analytical experiences should highlight the candidate’s ability to diagnose issues and identify opportunities within a dynamic environment. This role will be instrumental in developing and representing Citi’s readiness to all stakeholders, including regulators.

Job Responsibility:

  • Contribute to the redesign of operating model in support of instant payments, accelerated asset settlements and continuous (24/7) client solutions
  • Assist in the rollout of blockchain based and tokenized payment solutions
  • Interpretation and implementation of new regulatory guidelines impacting Citi’s intraday liquidity and payment management practices
  • Analyze IL usage trends, impacts upon liquidity reserves and related asset optimization opportunities
  • Manipulate large payment data sets to identify specific critical payments and perform scenario analysis
  • Collaborate with local entities to implement intraday escalation early warning indicators and adherence to global guidelines on documentation and controls

Requirements:

  • Minimum 4-6 years of experience in Treasury or Treasury Risk
  • BS in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Science, Engineering or Math
  • Developed skill base with respect to liquidity metrics, analytics and regulation
  • Collaborative orientation along with desire to interact with colleagues at all levels and across functions
  • Demonstrated analytical experience and ability to concisely communicate analytical objectives, observations and relevance of findings in written, visual (graphical) and verbal form
  • Proficiency with analytical software tools as well as PowerPoint
  • Ability to present to stakeholders and senior management

Nice to have:

  • Candidates with other relevant payments/ clearing/ settlement experience will also be considered
  • exposure to coding/scripting is beneficial but not required
