The Liquidity Data Management Senior Analyst supports the implementation of data governance policies and standards specific to liquidity data, monitors data quality, and collaborates with stakeholders to address data-related issues. The role contributes to maintaining a robust liquidity data environment that meets policy requirements and enables effective data risk management across the function.
Job Responsibility:
Help create and maintain an enterprise data catalogue with required metadata, data domain mapping, and lineage
Support the Data Manager in documenting and fulfilling Data Consumer requirements for accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of critical data elements
Support the execution of data quality and governance activities, including assisting in the resolution of Data Exceptions and remediation of Data Concerns
Support the Data Manager and Technology Owner in designing controls to mitigate key data-related risks
Ensure data management activities comply with the Enterprise Risk Management Framework, Operational Risk Management Policy, and other relevant policies and standards
Assist in the production of metrics and key performance indicators for the Liquidity Data Domain
Requirements:
5+ years of relevant experience in banking or financial services
Demonstrable experience in data governance, operational risk and controls
Basic understanding of data governance principles, data quality management, and data lineage
Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
Familiarity with data management tools (e.g. Collibra) and technologies
Knowledge of relevant regulations and industry standards (e.g., BCBS 239)
Familiarity with SQL, data analysis tools (e.g., Python, R) and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
Highly proactive and results-oriented with a strong bias for action and innovation
Curiosity to learn new data management concepts, technologies, and methodologies
Demonstrated commitment to operational excellence and process improvement
Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Information Management, Computer Science, Business Administration)
Nice to have:
