Job Description

The fixture service tech 1 will conduct maintenance and service activities to support safety, quality, and productivity within the workshop environment. This role supports preventive maintenance, equipment assembly, troubleshooting, and repair functions while assisting higher-level technicians and team operations.

Job Responsibility

  • Conduct preventive maintenance activities
  • Support team members within the workshop
  • Operate manual and powered forklifts
  • Perform bolting torque and tension tasks
  • Assist with equipment assembly
  • Perform overhead lifting operations
  • Support troubleshooting and repair activities
  • Follow instructions from tech 2 and tech 3 technicians

Requirements

  • 1 year maintenance experience with problem-solving ability
  • Ability to operate shop tools including pallet jacks, pneumatic tools, electrical tools, cranes, and forklifts
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Capable of working under pressure with logical thinking
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to self-direct based on work prioritization
  • Strong team orientation, motivation, and adaptability
  • Basic to moderate computer skills
  • Clean background required

  • Perform assigned day-to-day preventive maintenance and on-demand requests from Sales Floor. Complete appropriate maintenance records accurately and timely
  • Perform assigned daily inspections and building rounds
  • Assist with troubleshooting and basic repairs of buildings and installed systems, to include, plumbing systems, kitchen equipment, roofs, drains, shop, and HVAC
  • Assist with maintaining lighting systems throughout the facility, maintaining fixtures, and replacing bulbs and lamps
