Job Description

Avantor is currently looking for a Liquid handling Technician to join our Service Technician Team in Søborg, Denmark. The Liquid handling Technician exercises calibrations, maintenance and repairs of pipettes. These activities will take place at our Avantor site and at our customer sites.

Job Responsibility

  • You will calibrate Liquid Handling instruments according to the agreements made with the client, considering the quality and satisfaction within the business unit and on location with the client
  • Preventive Maintenance of Liquid Handling instruments will also be part of your job responsibilities
  • Simple repair of Liquid Handling instruments if needed
  • Make sure that the work is fulfilled according to the agreement with the customer and promised lead time
  • Make sure that customer documentation is handled correctly in line with the ISO17025 demands
  • For inhouse calibration you will arrange pick-up and delivery of customer/client instruments due to agreement
  • You will also provide response on the messages sent to the pipette calibration mailbox or telephone
  • Participate and help in customer training and exhibitions

Requirements

  • It is an advantage if you are ‘handy’ and have experience with servicing technical equipment or are familiar with the laboratory industry
  • Fluent in Danish and good English level
  • Knowledge of MS Office is needed
  • Driving License B is required for travelling purposes to our customer sites
