Job Description:

Looking for an exceptional Linux Systems Administrator with an active Top Secret clearance to build and maintain classified infrastructure in a cutting-edge manufacturing environment, with opportunities for collaboration and learning.

Job Responsibility:

Collaborate with other IT professionals to design and follow system maintenance, patch, and migration schedules
Collaborate with System Engineers in the uploading of container images into the deployment pipeline
Assist with setup of system of systems hardware from bare metal to platform base operating system
Install, configure, and maintain Windows workstations, Windows, and Linux servers
Develop and implement automation scripts using Python and Ansible.

Requirements:

5-7 years of experience in designing, developing, and implementing Classified IT enterprise systems and solutions at manufacturing companies
Proven expertise in one or more of the following, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Windows (10, 11, Server 2019, 2022), VMware (VxRail), Azure or AWS cloud services
Experience performing Database Cloning, Backups, Restoring, Recovery, and Monitoring
Experience implementing role-based access control concepts (e.g., SE Linux extensions to RHEL, PitBull, AppArmor, and Sentris)
Programming ability in one or more of the general scripting languages (Python, Go, Bash, Rust, etc.)
Experience in DevOps or SRE type roles
Ability to lift 50 lbs
Experience with physical hardware - servers, cabling, desktops, laptops, phones, tablets
Experience building, deploying, and troubleshooting air-gapped IT systems
Ensure compliance with security standards and best practices, working closely with Information Systems Security Managers (ISSMs) and Information Systems Security Officers (ISSOs)
Hands-on experience with virtualization technologies, such as VMware ESXi, Linux KVM, Hyper-V, and containerization platforms like Docker
DoD approved 8570/8140 baseline certification (Security +, CySA+, CISSP, etc)
Currently possesses and is able to maintain an active U.S. Top Secret security clearance.
