Job Description:

My client are seeking a Linux Compute and Storage Engineer to join their team. You will predominantly work on complex low latency Linux compute systems.

Job Responsibility:

  • Design, build and deploy compute infrastructure
  • Managing petabyte-scale storage systems including GPFS, NFS, Weka
  • Monitoring and maintaining Linux systems
  • Using tools such as ELK, Prometheus, and Grafana to monitor systems
  • Working within CI/CD and Agile practices
  • Using Python, Go, or Rust for automation and development

Requirements:

  • Strong Linux experience
  • Experience with Chef or Ansible
  • Experience with GPFS, NFS, Weka
  • Some experience with Python, Go, or Rust
  • Familiarity with ELK, Prometheus, Grafana
  • Experience with Agile and CI/CD practices
  • Degree in relevant subject highly desirable
