We are seeking a Linux, Middleware, and Storage Administrator to install, configure, and maintain our critical middleware, storage solutions, and server infrastructure. In this role, you will ensure the stability, performance, and security of the platforms supporting our key business applications. You will collaborate with development, operations, and architecture teams to support deployments, resolve issues, and drive technical excellence.
Job Responsibility:
Set up, manage, and optimize highly available and secure Linux server environments (both physical and virtual)
Install, patch, upgrade, and configure AbInitio ETL and Middleware Web Apps using Apache Tomcat
Procure, monitor, and manage various storage solutions including NAS, SAN, ScaleIO, and S3
Work with DBA teams to manage application databases, including schema creation, space monitoring, and troubleshooting performance issues
Manage the application software lifecycle, including version control, release planning, and deployment pipelines
Implement and manage advanced monitoring for servers, databases, and applications using tools like AppDynamics to ensure performance and availability
Lead complex troubleshooting efforts to perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement permanent solutions for critical infrastructure incidents
Design, implement, and test application-level disaster recovery plans to meet business continuity objectives (RTO/RPO)
Track and resolve security vulnerabilities (CVMPs, CVEs) and configuration issues (GEMS) in partnership with application and support teams
Implement and manage secure access to storage and servers using Active Directory (AD) & LDAP groups
Configure and maintain secure file transfer solutions using SFTP and NDM (Connect:Direct)
Adhere to ITIL processes for incident, problem, and change management using ServiceNow
Requirements:
Must to have 8-12 years of relevant experience
Strong proficiency in Linux administration (Red Hat, CentOS, or similar)
Hands-on experience with Apache Tomcat, IBM WebSphere, or other relevant middleware technologies
In-depth knowledge of NAS, SAN, ScaleIO, and S3-based object storage
Experience with VMware or other server virtualization platforms
Foundational knowledge of Oracle databases and SQL
Expertise in using enterprise monitoring tools like AppDynamics
Basic understanding in shell scripting
Familiarity with vulnerability management, server hardening, and Active Directory
Experience with ServiceNow for incident and change management
Knowledge of SFTP and NDM (Connect:Direct) protocols
Development or Administration experience with Abinitio ETL and Web Applications would be a plus
