Job Description

We are seeking a Linux Engineer to support and modernize Linux‑based systems, assist in application hosting, and collaborate with Azure and DevOps teams during infrastructure upgrades. This role supports PHP environments, containers, and cloud‑ready workloads.

Job Responsibility

  • Manage, secure, and optimize Linux servers (Ubuntu/RHEL/CentOS)
  • Support PHP application environments, Apache/Nginx tuning, package management, and configuration
  • Collaborate on migrations from traditional VMs to Azure VMs, App Services, or Container Apps
  • Troubleshoot performance, storage, networking, and OS‑level issues
  • Implement hardening, patching, monitoring, backups, and log management
  • Participate in CI/CD integration, containerization, and build/deploy pipelines
  • Write or maintain scripts for automation (Bash, Python)
  • Document system configurations and environment changes

Requirements

  • 3+ years of Linux systems engineering experience
  • Solid background in PHP application hosting and Linux web stacks
  • Experience with containers (Docker), Git, CI/CD, and cloud environments
  • Understanding of networking fundamentals, security hardening, and troubleshooting
  • Experience working alongside Azure or cloud teams is a plus
