In this role, you will help protect the integrity of our systems while contributing to the evolution of our overall technology strategy.
Job Responsibility:
Unified Communications Oversight: Manage, configure, and enhance enterprise communication platforms, including VoIP systems, SIP-based services, and cloud-hosted telephony solutions.
System Management: Support and maintain a wide range of on‑premise, server-hosted, and cloud-based software environments, including collaboration platforms such as Google Workspace and Slack.
Advanced Technical Support: Deliver Tier 2 support for internal teams and external partners, troubleshooting complex system and communication-related issues.
Security Coordination: Partner with security teams to address threats and ensure compliance, utilizing tools such as endpoint protection and device security platforms.
Infrastructure Collaboration: Escalate and coordinate issues with specialized teams—such as DevOps or Infrastructure—when needed.
Hardware & Lifecycle Operations: Evaluate, procure, and support IT and communication hardware throughout its full lifecycle.
Requirements:
6 + years of experience managing Linux systems
5 + years knowledge of data center best practices (i.e. basic fault tolerance, cable routing, calculating power usage)
5 + Experience working with servers/network hardware
2+ years experience in data center deployment and infrastructure
3 + years of ISP Network installation and troubleshooting
3 + years of Mass storage installation and maintenance
preferred knowledge of mission critical facilities system design, operation, and maintenance.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Relevant credentials such as Network+, Apple certifications, or specialized VoIP certifications.
Associate or Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
