The Linux Administrator will be responsible for the administration, support, and optimization of Linux-based systems across both on‑prem and AWS cloud environments. This role focuses on ensuring system stability, security, and performance while supporting cloud-hosted workloads and enterprise infrastructure. The ideal candidate has strong Linux fundamentals combined with hands‑on AWS experience operating Linux systems in production environments.
Job Responsibility:
Administration, support, and optimization of Linux-based systems across both on‑prem and AWS cloud environments
Ensuring system stability, security, and performance
Supporting cloud-hosted workloads and enterprise infrastructure
Requirements:
4+ years of Linux system administration experience in enterprise environments
Hands-on experience supporting Linux systems in AWS
Strong knowledge of Linux OS internals, shell scripting, and system troubleshooting
Experience with AWS services such as EC2, EBS, S3, VPC, CloudWatch, and IAM
Experience with system patching, monitoring, backup, and performance optimization
Familiarity with networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, firewalls)
Experience supporting production systems with uptime and SLA requirements
