Working alongside the Senior Designer, you’ll transform creative concepts into beautifully executed collections that captivate our customers and embody the Honey Birdette attitude - confident, provocative, and unapologetically bold. From mood board to sample sign off, you’ll be involved in every stage of the design journey - researching global trends, developing fabrics and laces with our international suppliers, and crafting products that balance innovation, quality, and allure. You’ll collaborate closely with our Production, Marketing & Retail teams to ensure each piece not only looks extraordinary but is commercially strong and ready for the global stage. This is an exciting opportunity to grow your creative voice, refine your technical expertise, and contribute to a brand that dares to stand out.

Job Responsibility:

  • Owning own delegated collections or sub categories, deriving design, development and hand over to production
  • Bring fresh, on-brand concept ideas that push creative boundaries while maintaining commercial appeal
  • Adhere to the critical path, ensuring projects meet key quarterly deadlines and milestones, providing clear and concise updates during team meetings
  • Collaborating with Product, Sales, and Production teams to ensure flawless execution of product that meet target markets needs
  • Prepare samples, create presentations, and assist in presenting collections to the wider team
  • Research and interpret global fashion trends across multiple platforms to keep designs innovative and relevant
  • Develop exquisite laces, embroideries, and accessories in collaboration with European and Asia Pacific suppliers, providing detailed technical specifications
  • Create highly accurate technical CADs using Illustrator and Photoshop, applying advanced design tools to achieve precision and polish
  • Build and maintain detailed tech packs, ensuring all data remains current throughout the development cycle
  • Collaborate with global garment manufacturers to develop designs that balance creativity, quality, and manufacturability
  • Leading prototype fit sessions to ensure designs are executed to HB premium standards
  • Review product feedback, store insights, and returns data to refine designs and drive continuous improvement

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Fashion, Contour Fashion, or a related field
  • 4+ years of experience in fashion design, within lingerie, intimates, or swimwear
  • Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop with proven technical design skills
  • Knowledge of fabrication, lace, embroidery, and trim development
  • Strong understanding of design-to-production processes and timelines
  • Highly organised, proactive, and confident collaborating with internal teams and offshore suppliers

Nice to have:

Passionate about creating pieces that celebrate confidence, sensuality, and craftsmanship
