Job Description:

The main purpose of this role is to lead and working as part of a team you will be directly involved in a diversity of challenging overhead line projects constructing and replacing out-dated networks. Loads opportunities to develop your career along the way.

Job Responsibility:

  • A key part of an Overhead Line team to erect poles, change transformers and carry out any other overhead line work that may be required
  • To construct/maintain/replace overhead electrical networks up to 33kV
  • Carry out all work in accordance with the standards, policies and procedures of our client and its customers
  • To partake in the risk assessment process prior to project commencement and continually review and report changes to your supervisor
  • To work safely at all times and in line with company and statutory safety requirements
  • Install and construct overhead electricity networks to relevant construction standards and exacting quality standards
  • To highlight any concerns, unsafe conditions or acts to your line manager
  • Acquire, maintain and develop your own competence in accordance with legislative changes and customer requirements
  • Conform to all instructions stated in method statements and risk assessments
  • Adhere to AIMED and TLC values

Requirements:

  • Experience as a linesperson
  • People with experience working on Dead Networks and Live LV Working
  • People with IPAF accreditation – Training can be given
  • Full driving Licence
  • NRSWA Operative
  • Authorisation tickets i.e UK Power Network, Western Power Distribution (WPD) etc
