Job Responsibility

Receive and check deliveries of fresh linen, reporting any inaccuracies to the Accommodation Manager
Manage the linen inventory and perform weekly stock takes
Prepare and deliver fresh linen in time for the arrival of new guests. Respond to requests for additional linen
Collect dirty linen and prepare it to be collected for cleaning
Perform specialist cleaning jobs such as carpet and upholstery cleaning and jet washing the exterior of holiday homes
Deliver, retrieve, clean, and sanitise hire goods equipment
Conduct vehicle and equipment checks, ensuring they comply with company standards
Report maintenance, structural and/or mechanical defects to the Maintenance Manager

Requirements

Previous experience in a similar role
4* Hotel experience (5* preferred)

Job Responsibility

Ensure efficient delivery, collection and management of clean and dirty linen throughout the hotel
Support the housekeeping team in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction
Ensure bedrooms, public areas and corridors are cleaned to the highest standard
Collect, sort and deliver linen supplies to all hotel store areas
Remove all dirty items using trollies to housekeeping main store and make ready for collection by the contract laundry
Maintain linen pantries ensuring they are tidy, well organised and well stocked at start of shift, during and at end of shift
Assist with linen, supplies stock counts
Receive deliveries from contract laundry, check paperwork and store linen correctly
Help in the spring cleaning of rooms
Clean bedrooms as and when needed

Job Responsibility

Supervise and support Room Attendants, House Porters, Linen Porters, Public Area Attendants, and the Evening Maid
Allocate rooms and assign deep cleaning tasks to team members
Confirm staff attendance at the beginning of each shift and arrange cover for any absences
Prepare and distribute room assignment sheets and floor keys
Report maintenance issues promptly to the Maintenance Department
Provide on-the-job training and support to team members as required
Ensure timely and positive resolution of guest concerns
Handle lost property in accordance with hotel procedures
Carry out any other reasonable duties as requested by the Executive Housekeeper or Deputy Housekeeper
