Job Description:

There is now an exciting opportunity for a Line Technician to join our Enfield Team. You will be responsible for the safe, effective, and efficient running, maintenance, changeover and troubleshooting of the spice production lines. You will be expected to champion a zero-accident culture, excellent focus on food safety, quality and to drive Westmill’s key behaviours. You will play an active role in the delivery of department performance targets such as OEE, right first time (RFT), waste and yield. Once trained, you will also be expected to complete basic equipment condition monitoring, preventative maintenance duties and basic engineering repairs.

Job Responsibility:

  • Responsible for the safe, effective, and efficient running, maintenance, changeover and troubleshooting of the spice production lines
  • Expected to champion a zero-accident culture
  • Expected to have excellent focus on food safety, quality and to drive Westmill’s key behaviours

  • Complete basic equipment condition monitoring, preventative maintenance duties and basic engineering repairs (once trained)

Requirements:

  • Must demonstrate ability to work both within a team and use own initiative with a confident and collaborative approach
  • Must have a strong, proactive work ethic
  • Must have excellent communication skills
  • Must have a strong sense of establishing great working practices and standards
  • Must have a flexible approach to a rotating shift pattern of AM shift (6am-3pm) and PM shift (3pm-11pm) Monday to Friday
  • Must be able to work additional hours before and after shift as well as at weekends
