Job Description

We are recruiting for a Line Support Technician to join a busy manufacturing and production environment. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced technician with a strong electrical, electronic, or electro-mechanical background who enjoys fault finding, process improvement, and supporting production operations. Working as part of a collaborative engineering team, you will play a key role in ensuring production equipment, processes, and products operate efficiently while maintaining high quality standards.

Job Responsibility

  • Provide technical support to production and manufacturing teams
  • Diagnose and resolve faults on products, equipment, and manufacturing processes
  • Investigate production issues and support root cause analysis activities
  • Carry out maintenance, calibration, and repair of production equipment
  • Monitor and analyse production data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
  • Support continuous improvement projects aimed at increasing efficiency, quality, and reliability
  • Assist with the introduction of new products, equipment, and manufacturing processes
  • Produce technical reports and maintain accurate documentation
  • Support and share knowledge with colleagues across the production environment
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards at all times

Requirements

  • Previous experience within a manufacturing, production, engineering, or technical environment
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, or engineering documentation
  • Good understanding of electrical, electronic, or electro-mechanical systems
  • Experience working with production equipment, testing processes, or maintenance activities
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Competent with Microsoft Office and general computer systems
  • Engineering qualification desirable but not essential for candidates with relevant experience
