Job Description:

As a Line Supervisor in our packaging department, you will play a central role in managing the packaging of frozen vegetables. After thorough training, you will take full responsibility for a complete packaging line, ensuring all its components function smoothly and efficiently. You’ll be involved from the intake of products to the automated stacking of packaged goods. You are the key to guaranteeing optimal output and product quality on your line. By adjusting machine settings and responding proactively to issues, you ensure smooth operations throughout your shift.

Job Responsibility:

Operate and monitor the complete packaging line, from vegetable input to palletizing
Set up machinery to optimize performance and product quality (speed, weight, etc.)
Perform quality checks on packaged products, including labeling, sealing, weight, and printing
Conduct regular metal detection inspections
Retrieve and adjust recipes in coordination with the team leader
Communicate with coworkers including operators, forklift drivers, and replenishment staff
Troubleshoot operational issues and liaise with technical staff as needed
Take full control of the assigned packaging line
Maintain continuous communication with the team leader and technical support
Adhere strictly to hygiene, safety, and quality procedures
Coordinate activities along the line to ensure maximum efficiency
Act as a key player in achieving production targets and maintaining product standards

Requirements:

very good level of English
some technical skills and know how to use a computer
experience as a production operator is a plus
living in the region and have your own transportation
