We are looking for a reliable Line Cook who takes pride in their work and a job well done. A sense of energy, passion, integrity, honesty, great attendance, and personal responsibility. Able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and day and night shifts. Work an average of 30 to 35 hours per week.
Job Responsibility:
Prepare food items by cutting, chopping, mixing
Cook food items by grilling, frying, sautéing, and other cooking methods
Able to expedite food orders/tickets in timely manner
Maintain cleanliness and complies with food sanitation requirements by properly handling food and ensuring correct storage
Clean and sanitize cooking surfaces at the end of the shift
Stock food items and other necessary supplies
Requirements:
1-3 years cooking experience in a restaurant, hotel, or resort
Safe serve certified or able to obtain
Experience working as a line cook in a fast-paced environment
Strong multitasking and organizational skills
Good understanding of ingredients, recipes, kitchen safety and hygiene
Passionate about culinary arts and creative cooking
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Familiar with general kitchen equipment and appliances
Able to follow instructions accurately and efficiently
Able to perform well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Physically able to stand and move around for long periods of time
