The Line Cook is responsible for preparing high-quality food items in accordance with resort standards, recipes, and food safety guidelines. This position ensures consistency, presentation, and timely service delivery. The ideal candidate is skilled in culinary preparation, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is committed to guest satisfaction and food excellence.
Job Responsibility:
Complete daily prep assignments and assist with station setup
Prepare, season, and cook menu items including meats, seafood, vegetables, and desserts
Follow recipes and presentation standards to maintain consistency
Operate kitchen equipment such as grills, fryers, ovens, and broilers safely
Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen and food preparation areas to meet health standards
Monitor food quality and temperature to ensure safe consumption
Assist in prepping ingredients by washing, cutting, and measuring food items
Coordinate with kitchen team to ensure timely delivery of meals
Follow food safety procedures and proper storage guidelines
Monitor food stock levels and communicate needs to Supervisor/Manager
Complete other duties as assigned by Supervisor/Manager to include assisting with dishwashing as needed
Requirements:
Minimum 6 months of experience as a line cook required
Basic knowledge of cooking methods, food preparation, and kitchen equipment
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
Ability to follow detailed instructions and work under pressure
