The Dinex Group is looking for professional Line Cooks to join the brigade at our multiple-venue fine, fine-casual, and upscale bar/lounge located across from Grand Central Terminal.
Job Responsibility
Working one of the following stations in the kitchen: Saucier, Hot appetizer, Rôtisseur, Poissonnier or Soupe
Supervising at least one cook and/or a commis at their station
Being in direct contact with the Chef or Sous Chef for all instructions on the station such as menu changes
Requirements
2 years of kitchen experience
Ability to read and follow recipes and standards
Ability to train employees
Ability to maintain health department, food quality, and restaurant standards
Full availability - daytime hours, evening hours and weekends
Drug screening
Reference check
Ability to stand for long periods of time
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Ability to work in a hot, fast-paced kitchen environment
