Centurion is an exclusive, elegant space that provides guests the highest level of service and hospitality. We are committed to creating a unique experience for each one of our guests and are looking for experienced and enthusiastic hospitality professionals to join our team. The Dinex Group is looking for professional Line Cooks to join the brigade at our multiple-venue fine, fine-casual, and upscale bar/lounge located across from Grand Central Terminal.

Job Responsibility

Working one of the following stations in the kitchen: Saucier, Hot appetizer, Rôtisseur, Poissonnier or Soupe
Supervising at least one cook and/or a commis at their station
Being in direct contact with the Chef or Sous Chef for all instructions on the station such as menu changes

Requirements

2 years of kitchen experience
Ability to read and follow recipes and standards
Ability to train employees
Ability to maintain health department, food quality, and restaurant standards
Full availability - daytime hours, evening hours and weekends
Drug screening
Reference check
Ability to stand for long periods of time
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Ability to work in a hot, fast-paced kitchen environment
