Job Responsibility:

  • Collaborate with scientific and technical teams to design, develop, and maintain LabVantage LIMS solutions
  • Implement and integrate LIMS modules to support laboratory workflows and data management
  • Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code in Java and Groovy, ensuring system reliability
  • Work closely with QA, DevOps, and business units to ensure smooth development, deployment, and adoption
  • Ensure software meets quality, compliance, and regulatory standards relevant to biotech/pharma
  • Track metrics and KPIs to optimize system performance and laboratory operations
  • Facilitate collaboration across IT, laboratory, and business teams
  • Contribute to the long-term vision of digital transformation initiatives within the laboratory environment
  • Oversee creation of technical documentation, release notes, and LIMS configuration guides

Requirements:

  • Proven expertise as a Back-end Developer, preferably in biotech or pharmaceutical sectors
  • Strong experience with LabVantage LIMS, Java, and Groovy
  • Solid understanding of laboratory information management systems (LIMS) and core informatics processes
  • Experience in managing complex software projects or digital products within regulated environments
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making skills
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
  • Expertise with Agile/SAFe methodologies and tools (Scrum, Kanban)
  • English fluent is mandatory
  • Background in software development for biotech, pharma, or laboratory environments preferred
