Requirements

High School Diploma or GED
10+ years of HVAC Experience
HVAC 313A License
G2 Gas License/Certificate
(ODP) certification
Valid driver's license
Must be in good standing with Union Local 787, or eligible to become a member
Must be able to lift 50lbs and be able to stand, crawl, sit and squat for extended period of times
Must be able to climb a ladder and work with heights

Job Responsibility

Supervise and coach technicians
Be first point of contact for technician support
Demonstrate excellent time management and organizational skills while maintaining accurate reporting in our app
Provide proactive maintenance and repair services for a variety of equipment, including Chillers (air and/or water-cooled, and centrifugal), as well as other HVAC and refrigeration systems
Support a range of technologies, including Centrifugal and Scroll equipment, controls, and Variable Speed Drive (VSD) systems
Perform maintenance and repairs on light and heavy applied HVAC/R systems in commercial and industrial buildings
Apply proven problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve complex system issues
Identify, estimate, and quote repair and upgrade solutions that extend equipment life and save energy for customers
Maintain positive, professional customer relationships and build trust by consistently meeting commitments
Support Carrier's Field Mechanical Services for startup and warranty activities

Requirements

High school diploma or GED preferred
Must have the manual dexterity to operate equipment, work in confined spaces, able to use hand/electric cart, able to use power and hand tools, required crouching and/or crawling, able to use a ladder, and must be able to lift up 80 lbs
Able to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple, changing priorities and ability to work independently
3-5 years experience in the A/C, Refrigeration or General Maintenance field
Requires driving a company vehicle to different store locations throughout the division

Job Responsibility

Maintains Facilities by performing light electrical, plumbing and carpentry
Provides general maintenance support to sites by painting, building/repairing structure, interiors, shelving, cabinets, etc., cleaning and other basic maintenance
Maintains store equipment by troubleshooting, repairing, cleaning, and performing preventive maintenance
Facilitates repairs by contacting service vendors for materials
Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities and continuing needs
Will be required to participate in training for existing and new equipment
Other duties as assigned or deemed necessary
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

Requirements

3+ years of previous field construction experience required
At least 1 year of experience as a service technician in the solar industry
High School diploma is required
PV design or PV electrical experience is preferred
Valid state or local Electrical Journeyman license required
Must possess a valid Journeyman License/Electrician Certification or equivalent per local and state requirements, e.g. wireman license
Knowledge of the NEC and applicable codes and standards
Must be a motivated team player, looking to succeed
Proven track record of excellent customer service
Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Job Responsibility

Organize, lead, and maintain the warranty and service schedule
Work with the Electrical Foreman, Construction Supervisor and the Branch Manager to allocate labor resources to service and warranty projects as needed
Assist with training and development for Field Service Technicians and Field Communications Technicians
Lead regular meetings to align and train the local field service team on best practices
Support the on-boarding and training of new members of the field performance team
Regularly exceed defined goals for field performance key performance indicators including but not limited to turnaround time, experience rating and average dispatches completed
Assist with other tasks including inspections and site audits when assigned
Perform advanced troubleshooting and complex service diagnosis
Train and develop other Field Performance team members
