Seeking an Lighting Field Service Tech with experience installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and training lighting systems in theatrical settings. Job Responsibility:
Provide on-site and remote troubleshooting support to customers
Interpret wiring diagrams to assist in the installation and maintenance of lighting control systems
Perform regular maintenance and repairs on lighting systems, as well as respond to emergency calls
Assemble, configure, and design graphical user interfaces for lighting control equipment
Document service-related activities, including billing details and training reports
Requirements:
Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure
Solid understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, including high voltage safety
Familiarity with lighting control protocols (e.g., DMX, RDM, sACN) and proficiency in soldering
Ability to travel overnight and work collaboratively with contractors and clients
Technical degree in Theatrical, Film, or Broadcast fields or equivalent experience
valid driver’s license required
