Job Description

As a Light Workshop Technician, you will be an essential part of our team, responsible for maintaining and repairing a wide range of light vehicles, including vans and small fleet vehicles. Your work will ensure that our vehicles, as well as those of our valued clients, are kept in peak condition and ready for the road.

Job Responsibility

  • Conduct routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on light vehicles
  • Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults
  • Perform MOT preparation and testing (if qualified)
  • Ensure all work is carried out to the highest safety and quality standards
  • Maintain accurate records of all work completed

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a light vehicle technician or similar role
  • NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent)
  • A full UK driving licence (essential)
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • MOT Tester qualification is desirable but not essential
