Light Vehicle Mechanic

• Troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults
• Performing scheduled servicing and maintenance on diesel and petrol engines
• Conducting monthly, quarterly and yearly inspections (DPTI Code of Practice)
• Repairing or replacing brakes, transmissions, and fuel systems
• Road testing vehicles to verify performance and maintain meticulous service records
• Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe workspace

• Certificate 3 in Light Vehicle Mechanical Trade (OR Heavy Vehicle)
• Proven experience in vehicle maintenance (Bus experience is a significant advantage)
• Strong diagnostic and problem solving skills with the ability to work independently
• A commitment to workplace safety, quality work and a team player mentality
• Proof of Australian work rights
• Be able to pass a full medical, as well as ongoing drug and alcohol testing
• Drivers licence
