Job Description:

Our Club is seeking a responsible and attentive Lifeguard to supervise customers in and around our swimming pool. You will ensure the safety of all pool users by enforcing policies, guidelines, and safety procedures while providing a secure and enjoyable environment. If you are passionate about safety, enjoy helping others, and want to contribute to a positive swimming experience, we would love for you to join our team. Job Responsibility:

  • Supervise customers in and around the swimming pool
  • Ensure the safety of all pool users by enforcing policies, guidelines, and safety procedures
  • Monitor pool activities at all times, promptly addressing any concerns
  • Administer first aid when necessary
  • Rescue swimmers in distress
  • Provide CPR or artificial respiration if required
  • Oversee pool usage to ensure it stays within safe limits
  • Report any health and safety concerns to the Fitness & Wellbeing Manager
  • Assist with maintaining a clean pool area, including the cleaning of related facilities
  • Ensure safety equipment is used properly
  • Ensure changing rooms, bathrooms, and showers are kept tidy
  • Ensure all personal belongings are safely stored at the end of each day

Requirements:

  • Lifeguard experience desirable
  • CPR, First Aid, or AED certified
  • National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) certified, an advantage
