Lifeguard

• Actively monitor all waterpark attractions, including pools, slides, and play areas, to ensure guest safety and enforce waterpark rules and regulations
• Remain vigilant and attentive at all times, scanning the water and surrounding areas to identify potential hazards and respond to any distress signals
• Educate guests about waterpark safety rules and guidelines, providing clear instructions on how to use water attractions safely
• Intervene and take prompt action in the event of an emergency, performing water rescues and providing first aid as required
• Coordinate with other lifeguards and waterpark staff to maintain effective communication and respond efficiently to any incidents
• Assist in the implementation of emergency response plans and evacuation procedures, ensuring guest safety during drills and actual emergencies
• Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor when interacting with guests, addressing their inquiries and providing excellent customer service
• Attend regular training sessions and participate in skill evaluations to enhance lifeguarding abilities and maintain certifications

• Current Lifeguard Certification
• First Aid and CPR Certifications is essential
• Additional Medical Training is a plus
• Prior Experience as a Lifeguard or in a Water Related Safety Role is preferred but not mandatory
