Lifeguard Open Day – Brio Northgate. Open Day – Saturday 20th June 2026 – 12.30 pm. Salary: £13.05 Per Hour. Sites: Brio Northgate & Brio Ellesmere Port. Contract type: Temporary contracts available. Hours of work: Variable, Casual, Full and Part-Time hours available. Fully Funded NPLQ and Job Opportunities to become a Lifeguard (Leisure Attendant). Do you have a current National Pool Lifeguard Qualification? Newly qualified or interested in becoming a Lifeguard and looking for full supported funding? The main duties of a Leisure Attendant will include pool supervision, the safe set up of sports equipment, dealing with customers, cleaning and housekeeping and general control of facilities and activities to a high level of customer satisfaction. WORKING HOURS: We have number of casual, full- and part-time contracted hours available which will include day, evening and weekend work. OPEN DAY: Come along to our Open Day at Brio Northgate on Saturday 20th June 12.30pm prompt. This event is open to both people with an NPLQ and without. It will provide individuals the opportunity to ask questions about the role and learn more about what we are looking for. If you don’t have a current NPLQ then the intention is to train individuals with a recognised Pool Lifeguard qualification as a minimum; therefore, the following level of swim ability is required and will be assessed on the day as part of recruitment process. Applicants must: Be able to swim 100 metres on your front; to swim 100 metres on your back; to swim 50 metres in 1 minute and be able to surface dive and recover an object from the deepest part of the pool. Please bring with you on the day, your CV and a form of ID which can be your Driving Licence, Passport or Birth Certificate. Please bring a towel and swim wear for the swim assessment.
