Job Description:

Lifeguard position at Orlando World Center Marriott responsible for ensuring swimmer safety, maintaining pool area cleanliness, and providing excellent guest service in a luxury hotel environment.

Job Responsibility:

Use appropriate rescue techniques for swimmers in need
Observe swimming area for dangerous conditions
Promote rules and regulations of recreation facility
Provide assistance to injured guests until EMS arrival
Promote fun and relaxing atmosphere for guests
Obtain, fold, and stack towels
Wash, mop, and clean pool deck
Report accidents and unsafe conditions
Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information
Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to standards

Requirements:

CPR Certification
First Aid Certification
Fitness Equipment certification
Any certification or training required by local and state agencies
High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
Ability to move at required speed (run, walk, jog)
Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
Ability to lift objects up to 50 pounds without assistance
Ability to move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces
Ability to work up and down ladders, stairs, and service ramps

Nice to have:

No related work experience required
No supervisory experience required
