Lifeguard

• Supervise customers in and around our swimming pool
• Ensure the safety of all pool users by enforcing policies, guidelines, and safety procedures
• Monitor pool activities at all times
• Promptly address any concerns
• Ensure swimmers are safe and following pool regulations
• Administer first aid when necessary
• Rescue swimmers in distress
• Provide CPR or artificial respiration if required
• Oversee pool usage to ensure it stays within safe limits
• Report any health and safety concerns to the Fitness & Wellbeing Manager
• Assist with maintaining a clean pool area
• Ensure safety equipment is used properly
• Ensure changing rooms, bathrooms, and showers are kept tidy
• Ensure all personal belongings are safely stored at the end of each day.

• Lifeguard experience desirable
• CPR, First Aid, or AED certified
• National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) certified, an advantage.
