Job Description:

We are seeking experienced and dynamic Contracting Lawyers with at least 5 years of in-house legal experience in the life sciences industry. Priority consideration will be given to candidates with experience in the medical device sector.

Job Responsibility:

  • Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of commercial contracts specific to the medical device industry, including supply chain agreements, SaaS, IT, and procurement contracts
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, IT, supply chain, and business development, to support the company's commercial objectives
  • Develop and implement best practices for contract management and risk mitigation
  • Assist in resolving contractual disputes and provide advice on risk assessment and management
  • Stay informed about industry trends and legal developments to proactively address potential impact on the business
  • Provide strategic legal guidance to internal stakeholders on contract-related issues and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of in-house legal experience within the life sciences industry, preferably with a focus on medical devices
  • Proven expertise in SaaS, IT, procurement, and supply chain contract management
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and commercial contracting within the med device industry
  • Excellent negotiation, drafting, and communication skills with the ability to convey complex legal concepts to non-legal stakeholders
  • Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Active admission to practice law in your state of primary residence
